Classes in our dojo teach you the grace of a dancer, the coordination of an athlete and the timing of a musician in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. We will teach you a complete method of self-defense, but we will also teach you self-confidence, better concentration, wellness, stress relief, positive mind, grace in movement, relaxation, and conflict resolution.
Aikido literally means a method (do) of coordinating (ai) one’s life force or spirit (ki). This Japanese martial art uses an attacker’s own energy against him.
